How to Change Oil on 2000 - 2006 Chevrolet Suburban
Required Materials:
- OEM Oil filter
- 6 – 8 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
- Jack and jack stands
- 15-millimeter socket
- Oil drain pan
Performing the oil change:
- Park the Chevrolet Suburban on leveled ground. Engage the parking brake.
- Let the engine cool down so you can safely work on it. 10 to 15 minutes are enough.
- Open the hood, locate the oil cap, and remove it. Store it safely.
