How to Change Oil on Ford Bronco
Required Materials:
- Oil filter
- 6 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
- Jack and jack stands
- 15 millimeter socket
- Oil drain pan
Performing the oil change:
- Park the Ford Bronco on a leveled ground.
- Open the hood and remove the oil cap.
- Lift the front end of your vehicle.
- Locate the oil drain bolt and remove it using a 15 millimeter socket.
- Before completely removing the drain bolt, make sure that the drain pan is in place.
- Remove the drain bolt completely and let the engine oil drain into the drain pan.
- Once the oil is completely drained, reinstall the oil drain bolt.
- Remove the old oil filter.
- Reinstall the new oil filter. Make sure to lubricate the new oil filter before installing it.
- Remove the jack stands and lower the Ford Bronco.
- Pour 6 quartz of 5W-30 motor oil into the engine and reinstall the oil cap once done.
- Start the engine and check the oil level.
