How to Change Oil on Ford F-350
Required Materials:
- OEM Oil filter
- 8 quarts of 5W-30 motor oil
- Jack and jack stands
- 19-millimeter socket
- Oil drain pan
Performing the oil change:
- Park the Ford F-350 on a leveled ground.
- Remove the oil cap.
- Lift the front end of your vehicle and place it on jack stands for safety.
- Place a drain bolt underneath the vehicle.
- Locate and remove the oil drain bolt using a 19-millimeter socket.
- After 10 minutes, reinstall the oil drain bolt.
- Remove the old oil filter and install a new OEM oil filter.
- Lower your F-350 and remove the jack stands.
- Pour 8 quartz of 5W-30 motor oil into the engine and reinstall the oil cap once done.
- Start the engine and measure the level of the oil after 10 – 15 minutes.
